Not playing with mods?

I'm wondering if any of you play MTW2 without any mod.

I did. Finished vanilla campaign with almost every faction. And now I got my hands on this Custom Campaign mod. Game is so much better with it.

I normally don't handle mods which severely change the game very well, so generally I like simple things like e.g. BigMap which only makes the map bigger and doesn't really change the factions or anything.

I have 100% vanilla! But I frequently open up the cheat console. I think the ~ and F are the most pushed buttons on the campaign map.

I used to, but when I heard of SS I switched, much more fun and challenging with SS, strict rules and some thinking required, not just kill sack conquer die.

I played vanilla for a brief period, then installed Stainless Steel, and I'm never coming back.

100% vanilla hear. It was like that for Rome as well (though I tried Total Realism for a brief period), and probably will be for Empire too. I finally tested Stainless Steal a few months ago and reverted to vanilla the day after. I just couldn't get into it despite the fact it has many of the things vanilla lacks.

Alright... I've played RTW without mods too, but MTW2 with a mod straight away,

I don't know if you have noticed but the vanilla game could become very easy at the end.

Played Vanilla (inc Kingdoms) for ages, until I found out about SS. I've played a hotseat Crusades campaign with some friends, but other than that, I haven't touched the unmodded game since.

I played vanilla, it was good. Now I am playing SS 6.1 and Broken Crescent and its awesome . I can go back to vanilla for a change every now and then, but mods are ten times better.

I don't do mods (sadly), wahts more sad that I can't and I'm always frikin worried about the mod ****ing up my System

I played vanilla for awhile then went to broken crescent. When kingdoms came out i played that for a while but now im on SS which opens up the game so much!! I tried to play a vanilla game the other day and I couldn't finish it because it just sucked!! Mods are what make this game!!
