    REGISTRATION CLOSED

Alright, I'm thinking of starting a new hotseat campaign,
but with a bit of a twist too it.

Normal Hotseat games are usual played either Eastern (muslim holyland) or
    Western Europe.
This Hotseat game will consist of only around 8 players max and will emcompass the whole world, but here is the kicker.

Each of the 8 players gets to choose not 1 Kingdom, but 2 kingdoms to play in this grand campaign, and I will adjust the turns so that the players can play both turns at once.

Of course there our a few conditions, in order to keep things balanced and realistic.

All the Teams possible have been created:
you can choose from either 1-12 the team you want to play as long as it's not already taken.

    The Teams:
The teams have been created with the Idea of fairness and realistic feel to their alliances.

    1. All teams are of the Same Religion.

    2. All teams are distant from each other on the map for the simple reason that neighboring allies at the start of the game would be unfair.
However, you can make it a goal to combine or join your allies together afterwards.

    3. All teams are fairly balanced, For example. (HRE, the strongest of the Catholic nations is allied with the Templars, weakest).
This means that if you play a catholic nation you will most likely have one strong nation and a weaker one, or two medium strength nations.
Exception: The Orthdox, Pagan & Islam nations, have slight advantages over the Catholic nations in strength. But because of Crusades and many catholic nations, This will even itself out.

Finally, diplomatic trades of money is accepted between allies, but not the trading of cities.
(in other words, gives your strong nation all the cities of your weak nation is strictly forbidden)

Money, maps, alliance, military access is all acceptable.

Any questions on this or further information is appreciated.

    TriforceV

List of available Team Actions to choose from:

Each player is allowed to choose one Team, which consists of 2 kingdoms.
There are 12 teams and only 8 players.
    Here is the options

    Catholic:

    1.(Aries777777) Holy Roman Empire & Knight's Templar
    2.(TriforceV) France & Portugal
    3.(barcamartin) England & Genoa
    4.(thelord) Venice & Norway
    5.(Nightbringer) Sicily & Poland
    6. Hungary & Aragon
    7.(Decimus Atreides) Castile & Scotland
    8. Denmark & Ireland

    Islam:

    9.(Remi) Kwarezemian & Egypt
    10.(Kaizer Merlox) Seljurks & Moors

    Orthodox:

    11.(Ultra_Magnus) Byzantine Empire & Novgorod

    Pagan:

    12.(Empedocles) Cuman Empire & Lithuania

I tried to take into account distance, and Religion as well as strength into account to make this extremely fair.

The Muslim and Orthodox kingdoms are very strong, but the down side is they are subject to some lethal crusades by many Catholic nations.
So it all balances itself out in the end.

What are the Victory Conditions ?
The 2 nations must win ?
What append if they have a common objective ?

The computer victory conditions are irrelivant in Online games.
But your still welcome to follow it.

The online victory conditions are the same as having a strongest nation in a regular hotseat game, just like any other online hotseat game, as well as dominating your oponents, with the exception of your other nation (of course).

But in all honest, I've played about over a dozen hotseat games and I've never finished any, had a few that last well over 8 months but we were no where near finished,
usually the game ends when a player becomes too powerful or when people loose intrest.

However with 2 kingdoms it would speed up the effect and excitement, as well as bring all of the map into the drama.

Yes, to awnser your question, your more then welcome to try and combine your nations.

However, balance is really an issue for this to work,
So ive come up with a list of available teams, and you could pick either or.

    I don't think so,
at least I tested out Kwarez on my own, and didn't find any problem with them, unless of course you know something I don't, but I didn't find any problems.

And I just tested this out on desc_strait.txt
and no, its possible and I have done it, so this means we will all be able to play our two kingdoms consecutively
