    Default Enemy units invincible

    Hi, the problem is that enemy units start being invincible after some time on the battlefield. I can still hit them with missiles, but even my general has no chance against stupid peltasts at the moment.

    I didn't change anything to my RS 1.5b version except for music. I also changed the difficulty with RomeSage, but that doesn't concern the battlemap either, does it?

    Does anyone have a solution or has had that problem before?
    Help appreciated !

    Ah and the bug only occurs sometimes in my campaign battles. I started a custom battle and it seemed to work, but I only tried it once so I'm not really sure.

    to get properly balanced battles (in any mod) the difficulty has to be on Medium...

    Oh damn, I'll try that! I only changed the settings because of the advice in the info scroll in the building panel.

    Umm, RS is specifically designed to be played on H/H or H/VH, read the download instructions it clearly states this, and if you use any program to alter the game then you're on your own for trying to find a solution.

    That's what I meant, but the units of the enemy really are invincible, they don't lose even 1 guy if I charge into them and fight them for like 5minutes.

    Ok, now I reverted the settings back to H/M, everything works again. I got the same bug with every other game I start on H/H too though...

    i'm a little confused on the rational behind anything other than medium battles if unit stats have been properly balanced. all that happens is the AI gets +4 or +7 to attack and morale; although this has much less effect in a mod like RS where the stats are so high to begin with.

    higher difficulty levels result is situations like the OP mentioned where peltasts can become equal to hoplites...

    Sorry, I misread the title, I though it said invisible not invincible. I'd say your tactics are the problem, if you charge into an enemy specifically one that has a chance to get set against you of course you're going to lose a tonne of men, it's inevitable. Perhaps you need to develop some other tactics aside from charging.

    Oh I fought some campaigns with over a 1000 battles each, I'd say I'm pretty good at general tactics, although I have nearly no experience with a roman army.

    I don't think it's a balancing issue either. It's just that none of the enemy died, even if I through in 2000 principes against let's say 150 peltasts (I watched their exact number for at least 5 minutes, there was absolutely no change )

    The only time I've ever seen this happen is when the unit has 2 or more hit points.

    My understanding is that RomeSage should not be used for RTW games other than version 1.2.

    I was told that it messes up games that use RTW 1.5 or RTW BI 1.6. I don't know how it messes them up, just that it does. Florin90 from the RTR PE forums pointed that out to me a long time ago.

    That seems to make some sense, but well. Now everything works fine again
