OK, when playing the campaign if your armies cross the borders of others nations the relations will decrease. But if is the AI to do it so nothing happens. Is there anyway of warning them that we don't want them trespassing without having to attack them?

I had a few incidents when the AI army was in my land and the relations worsened

What i think is
That only when an army ENTERS or LEAVES your land, that the relation is worsened

It is not worsened if it's a Crusade.
Neither it is as long as the army appeared there during crusade, is not stuck without the Banner of the Cross and now just stands there. If it leaves, the relations are worsened.

I think thats what "Military Access" is? The right to move your troops through their territory. I know what you mean though, it pisses me off when allies I need walk through my territory and lower relations.

Diplomacy is very present in this game, You just need to know how to work it.
