How do you unpack kingdoms files?

I've looked everywhere, but I just can't figure out how to unpack any of the kingdoms mods. When I go to the unpacker folder in my main MTW2 folder, the only unpacking options I have are unpack all or unpack contents lists, there doesn't seem to be any way for me to unpack the britannia files for instance.

I know there is a way to do it, but I'm positively stumped.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There should be files in that folder that say something line unpack_brittania.bat, unpack_teutonic.bat, etc. Not sure why you don't have them... maybe a problem with a patch installation(though the patch is included with kingdoms). Did you order it via Steam or something and have a problem there? :hmmm:

Anyways the unpack files for the kingdoms expansion is essentially the same as unpack_all.bat with a couple changes, so if you have the file unpack_all.bat, open it up and make these changes to it:

--source=..\..\mods\americas\packs\*.pack

and

--base_pack_path=mods/americas/data/

add that on the end after a space. Then save it as unpack_americas.bat in that same folder. Do the same for the others, substituting wherever it says americas for teutonic/crusades/brittania. That should work, haven't tested it but don't see why it wouldn't.

Can't provide to you the context of those line amendments, because it would violate the rule about providing non-modified files, so you'll have to find and change them off your unpack_all.bat based on the instructions.

Just right click it and Open With.. then select Notepad or Wordpad, it's just a very small text file saved to run with the MS-DOS Command Prompt.
