    Icon1 Is this out there?

K so I seen a couple of mods i'd really like to use together, Conquerable Units by Francebunkerer and King's Banner 3 by joedreck, along with one of those minis that puts 199 territorys n make the game 900 turns long. I'm totally modding illiterate so i can't do it myself (tried n had to reinstall lol) and I can't find just these out there ne where. Is this doable by any means? I'd apriciate it if sum1 could let me kno or if its out there n i missed plz tell me lol. Thx in advance

By the look/sound of it, these all seem to be minor mods. So what you want to do then is have all three running in one imperial campaign?

If this is the case, it's a matter of finding out which files they each change. The provinces mod will change the most files, but if it is just purely a provinces mod, it probably won't have anything to do with the other two(you should pick a pure province expansion mod, would be harder to try and use TLR or similar). The banners file might only change the standards file, forget the name, and the relevant image locations, and the last one I'd have to look at. At face value it seems they edit separate files, but I'll have a look later when I'm on my home computer.

Well you'd need to let me know which provinces mod you're looking to include, virtually every mod extends the provinces to 199 regions, and a large amount of them are in the same Vanilla focus, and there's still quite a few that are just purely map mods. The timescale is irrelevant, the turns allowed can be changed with one simple edit. Have a look through the downloads section and the Released Mods area of Mod Threads and see if you can find a provinces mod you like, and I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

After looking through the files from all three mods, it would be very difficult to combine them, and take quite some time.

If the mods only made changes to one area of vanilla M2TW, such as the map, and insured all files tied to the map were proper. And another mod only made changes to the images like banners, and didn't go messing around with the EDB/EDU. And another mod made changes to the EDB/EDU and possibly campaign script, in order to allow conquered units to be combined. There's a good chance those three separate instances could be combined almost flawlessly or with very few required mergings.

With the mods: King's Banner 3, Conquerable Units, and RegionsModBM; they all change areas the other ones address. RegionsModBM for instance makes some shield changes, which is handled by King's Banners, who in turn makes some unit additions, which changes the EDB/EDU which is mainly handled by Conquerable Units. Because of this it would be too complicated for the result it would produce.

    This thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=103981

deals some with mod merging, but that isn't really the whole picture.

I'll give it one more lookover using a text comparing program, to see if any of it is a quick fix, but it isn't looking like it.

    Augustus

After giving it a second look, it just doesn't seem at all feasible. The modelsdb file alone would take 3 hours+ to merge, and then it wouldn't even be guaranteed to work. Also, one of the mods seems to come with retrofit attached, so would either have to use it as a base or remove the retrofit aspects. The regions mod also adds new factions, and the conquerable units seems to use way too many model entries in order to achieve whatever it is trying to do, which may be why people on the thread for it said they couldn't get it working. Sorry mate .
