Never played the prologue till the end. Thought it was pretty pointless after you got the game basics....
Probably a game fault, there are no black diplomats in the game afaik even for factions with black-skinned troops.
Every time you , god kills another kitten.
If you're gonna hire Machete to kill the bad guy, you better make damn sure the bad guy isn't YOU!

Yeah, they are usually just covered up in cloth.
do you have a screen of this?![]()
He's right. However, this is accurate. The Roman Empire was very accepting of other cultures - he is a senator by his own merits. There were even Gallic senators!

The Roman empire maybe, but the Roman republic certainly not. It took a civil war (the Socii war) for the Romans to even extend citizenship to their Italian allies. IIRC the Gallic chieftains that Ceasar introduced to the senate didn't exactly get a warm welcome either. At the time of the prologue, only an inhabitant of Latium could have been a senator.
Not really. Freed slaves, men born outside roman citizenship (except maybe in extreme cases) and any others were usually denied Roman ctizenship itself, let alone entry to the senate.
It wasn't until 77 BC that other Italian groups (such as the samnites) got citizenship, even though they had been ruled by rome for hundreds of years.
Everytime I get a couple of turns into the prologue the game CTDs.So I wouldn't know.
Ah. Good to know.

Forlornhop3 - I don't have a picture, but I do have the next best thing. Go to your Rome - Total War/data/fmv/senate folder. Open up senate_L08.wmv. Go to the time 00:12. He's in the top left corner of the screen.
EDIT: He's also in the prologue movie at minute 1:37
