Does anyone know where I can find a list of the Strategoi of Athens for each year of the Peloponnesian War, and which Phyle each Strategos was elected from?
I've been looking for a while, and I thought maybe someone here would know.
Thanks

That's quite a task really.
If I recall correctly, 10 Strategoi were elected each year, so that's a lot of ground to cover, especially considering that ancient historians had different ideas on what they considered to be worth writing about. My guess is the best places to look would be Diodorus or Thucydides, and I would probably put more money on Thucydides, being more contemporary. Also Diodorus is a rather large work to go through.
Someone else will probably know more though..,
