Kingdoms.exe stopped working!

I had Kingdoms installed and it was playing nice until a few days ago.

I installed Alcohol, and from there on, when I try to use the Kingdoms.exe I get the following error (in Greek):

Η απαιτούμενη μονάδα ασφαλίας δεν μπορεί να ενεργοποιηθεί.
Η εκίνηση ης εφαρμογής είναι αδύνατη (7000).

It translates mostly like: "Unable to start the application (7000). check http... for more info."
I checked the site, I unistalled alcohol, I downloaded the software there, but it doesn't work.

The DVD works actually. I can open it from my computer in order to install Kingdoms. I have already unistalled and installed Medevial II twice.

Medevial II works btw. Only Kingdoms.exe doesn't.

You can't talk about cracks and images on the forums. Check you are using the right ones for your patch version.

Crack and images?

I have the Original kingdoms, right from the box. And I don't want to use a no-cd crack, since I won't be able to play multi-player battles.

Using something like this would solve my problem, but I don't like it.

This may explain part of your plight and the best course maybe take it up with Sega after you read this concerning Alcohol. They are the ones you have convince what you are doing is on the up and up.
