    Default Invisible trade resource?

    First of all, great mod!!!

I have just started the 361AD Roman campaign, and I noticed something strange. If u look at the trade details of some cities, u will find that they are importing and exporting "invisible" goods. No trade icons. When I refer to the map, there are no trade resources either. Yet these cities are raking in large amounts of trade income. One big glaring example is Ravenna (>1000 in sea exports...of what? :hmmm.

Is it a bug, or am I missing something?

    No invisible trade for me.
I don't know how the game calculates trade, and which recources get counted,
but I think hidden resources do not count.

You are talking about IJ 2.01a, right?
Did you install the game right? In a clean folder?

Thanks for the pic, it shows exactly what I am talking about.

I am playing 2.01a, clean install, first turn of 361AD. Ravenna should be having zero exports. The map shows the province having zero trade resource. Look at sea imports: 27 (of what?) from Dirrahius. But if u look at Dirrahius, it shows a resource-free province (just like Ravenna). There are other cities showing this anomaly. So, there is definitely some shady trading goin on!

    Hi aelfewulf,

Glad you are enjoying IJ. The trade issues that you mentioned have been inherited from IB:RR. Beatoangelico, who is assisitng me on a number of items for IJ, is currently loking at revising the trade and income side of things to be released as part of IJV3.0.

    Cheers

Ah...thanks for the reply! that certainly clears things up.

I'm really enjoying this mod because its is one of the rare few mods where Loyalty is implemented. I like to create rebelling generals, civil wars, and generally have a tough time keeping a huge empire together.

Great work! Looking forward to IJ3.

    How do you do that?

I never had a rebelling general.
Do you disinherit them a lot so it triggers the traits with negative loyalty?
Or is there maybe some event later in the game that will make your generals rebel?
