Patience - I am sure someone will answer soon. Try not to post multiple posts without a reasonable amount of time passing - we all have alas real-life issues which drag us away from the fantastic mod! Also it would help the modders if you could post more details about what exactly is happening and even a screen shot or two!

I installed IJ2 yesterday, and got a missing file error.

The solution (for me) is to place the installation .EXE actually in your Rome Total War folder and then run it from there.

This also fixed the IJ shortcut. I then did the same thing with the 2.03 patch.

PS. You need to have started with RTW + BI v1.6 unmodified

wit me i dawnloaded everything but whene i try to start the game it asks me to find a file that dousn't exist

If you are using Microsoft Vista, then it may be UAC (User Access Control) that is the problem.

UAC won't allow you to change public areas (such as the Program Files directory). So if you install a mod, UAC places the mod files in a hidden shadow directory that is personal to your user. When you look with Explorer, Vista pretends that the files are under Rome Total - War, but when the program runs, Vista doesn't pretend, so it doesn't see them.

The way around it (I think) is to install RTW and BI to a private area (such as under My Documents).
