Problem playing IJ.

Apparently, I cannot open the spot_fx file"barbarian street lamp.cas" or some such thing, at line 751, column forty, in the models_building file.

I have installed and played IJ before, and wanted to try it again.

I would like to play this mod ASAP. Any help?

I assume that you have installed the V2.01a patch?

EDIT: Okay, it must have been that the problem laid with my data folder. I thought it was unmodded, but I guess I was wrong. I transferred the mod to the second of my three Rome installations, and it seems to be working alright (got to main menu). If there are any more problems, I will post em.

No problem. ensuring that you have a clean RTW/BI folders can be rather difficult.

Damn! New problem!

75% of the time there is an immediate crash upon entering a custom battle, with any factions or units.

Also, about 7 of the Roman units come up with "unlocalised placement text". Why?

I will try a battle in the Campaign. If it does not work, I am gonna have to jump ship to Ruina Romae (lol)...

EDIT: Okay, good news. Battles in the campaign work, and after running a long series of custom battles with the units that have "unlocalised placement text", It appears that all of them work in a battle.

The Custom Battle CTD seems to have vanished...

Okay, what I don't get is the unlocalised placement text. It only appears on a few units, such as that "Domesti Equitorum Pedites" or whatever. (The one with the plate-looking armor, not the Eastern one) Also, it appears on several cavalry units, all for the Romans. Why?
