    Default give_trait cheat

So, there is a list of all the traits you can get by cheating (here) but my question is how do I add traits to my characters with "of (place)" in their name, kings, and faction heirs if you aren't supposed to add the title. But, when I just put their first name, it says "character not found" (same with the title). so is there a way to give them the traits I want them to have, and also if I can give traits to other factions' generals? (so I can kill the freakin Pope without getting excommunicated for once)

If they have names of places, you need to know the original name of the character.

Try using cheats right at the first of the game when your characters are simply named Robert.. or Jim, lol

If it has lastname its Jim_Ganoosh

And I'm pretty sure you can give traits to enemies generals... Just need to know the name, you'll know it's worked IF A) Use a spy and see B) it doesnt say error after you type it in

So does anyone know the Norwegian King's last name from kingdoms?

No, I was asking to assassinate him, but it worked anyway (after I gave the assassin full subterfuge...)

traits and ancillaries can be added easily regardless of the name

    give_trait this Berserk 2

you have to have the character selected though.

As he said make sure the character is outside a city and then click on his card so it is highlited then type give_trait this Blabla and he gets the trait.

He who wishes to command must know what it's like to obey.

isn't there just a kill_character cheat or something? why not just use that instead of giving an assassin full subterfuge then doing it? Just wondering

Simple, actually... say the character is named Robert of Plymouth. Instead of 'Robert of Plymouth', type 'Robert of_Plymouth'. Same goes for the other odd ones... 'Nur ad-Din' is 'Nur ad_Din' and 'Vermuu d'Ulhoa' is 'Vermuu d_Ulhoa'.

Haakonsson, if you're talking about Britannia. As for Teutonic, I don't know...

I'm pretty sure that kill_character doesn't work. It would be awesome if it did, though...
