Resolution and Icons

Hi, I just installed and am playing my first game. Not sure if this should be asked here or in modding.

I want to play a vanilla game, but one things bothers me: I play in 1680x1050, but all the icons for units, buildings, etc. are in lower res so they look pretty crappy. Is there a mod or file I can install to upgrade these images?

This is a modding question. When you get into the icons and play with the size, color, etc., you will run into a maximum memory for it. What it is and any other particulars, ask the modding forums. The ones that have chnged these in their mods will be your biggest help.

Please post a picture to illustrate the problem you are having. I play at 1920x1200 and don't see any icons that look 'crappy'.
