    Icon1 Vassals imbalanced?

So today I decided to try and acquire a vassal kingdom seeing as how I've never managed to do so in the past and always wondered what it was like. It was a bit of a let down but getting there was very fun so it was all worth it in the end.

Fresh new campaign, picked Norway, VH/VH. Merged all my units and sent them down to Denmark. First battle, I manage to kill the enemy king; Arhus surrenders without a fight a few turns later. The Pope excomunicates me but both my settlements are still content and I've barely lost any money at all.

I move on. The enemy general that was on his way to relieve Arhus dies in battle, his army routs and the next town surrenders without a fight a few turns later. At this point, my army is now composed of about half a stack (down from 2/3rds) of spear militia and viking raiders as I land in front of the final Danish city.

Next, I engage the large army hiding in the forests, killing 2 more generals and capturing some 400-500 soldiers. My spy had done his job well (for once). I'm down to around 400 soldiers myself but thats still more than double of what Denmark had remaining in their only settlement, along with their new King.

Seeing how they hand all but one family member remaining, I decided it was time to send in my emissary and demand they kneel before me and kiss my feet, calling me king. They accept and I cheer IRL. Next turn, I recieve all of their money, a whopping 75k. I thought it very odd that they had that much but I wasn't going to complain. I have a large kingdom to build after all and this was more than enough to fund my invasion of the British isles.

After a few turns of construction and recruitment, I notice my money had gone up by anoter 20k. Weird. One would think with all that heavy spending I've been doing that there would be hardly any room for profit. Fast forward 25-30 turns now, I'm up to 200k, Scotland has almost been wiped off the map and despite my best efforts, I'm still making a proft evey turn. At this point It felt like I was using a money cheat so I decide to finish off Denmark once and for all and my campaign ends with them.

Now I know that vassals are extremely rare and are far from a big deal but would it be possible to change the ridiculous amount of money you get from them for balance sake?

SS gives the AI a ridicolous amount of money. In vannila its ok.

You recieve a percentage of the money your vassal has each turn. So I think the best way to adjust this would be to decrease the AI money script. Im not sure there is a way to decrease the benefits recieved from having a vassal.

You receive anything over 15,000 the vassal has.

yes it does imbalance it when you get that sort of cash, i've had vassels before but never that order of magnitude came in. Better than vanilla though as I don't think they ever accepted vassel-ship(?) from me in that.

yeah, i never managed to get a vassal in vanilla, the problem is that here you get too much money from vassals due to the ai money scripting but if you reduced the ai money then you would be able to steamroller all over the map easily... its a pickle, lol
Its not the one with youre name on it, its the one addressed to whom this may concern you have to worry about

In my Aragon campaign I'm playing at the moment, Portugal has accepted to become my vasal. The financial benefits dont even come near the amounts mentioned above. I receive between zero to about 4k per turn. I'm playing on VH/H. Portugal has two cities left and a couple of halve stacks.

It would be great if there were a sort of 'money cap' to the maximum amount you can have, perhaps depending on your faction size. That sounds like it would prevent the AI (and the player) from having gigantic armies and still make profit.
