    Default Money

First, let me say I continue to like the mod.

Next let me express my concerns/questions: Using 5.71 as England: Having immediately been driven into bankruptcy with hard settings, I tried medium. By 1186 and having raised just enough men to defeat the rebels near London and Caen, I have already entered a financial spiral of ruin with minimal armed forces and only 3 leaders. Is this something that happens by chance (i.e. if I start again it'll be different) or is financial destitution the norm?

Also have been trying to get rid of a heretic for about 15 turns with a 22% chance (using my one and only clergyman - the cardinal you're given at the start) and failed every time. Statistically, that's not right. What's going on here?

The start is the hardest - if you'll survive and build some trade (by buildings/roads and treaties) you can go on up till Dark Age

Anyway you should learn how to win battles (especially the first ones) being outnumbered by using your generals bodyguard effectively (as they replenish without costs), and winning sieges by using long range missiles effectively (mercenary longbows/composite bows or at least crossbows). Shame but if your tactics is good enough and you can do this - you own the game and strategical skills and management are marginal
