The Ireland faction wasn't in the original game, it was included with DLV. For that reason Scotland has been duplicated and changed accordingly to appear as Ireland. They're still based on the Scots however, as you can see/hear in the sound-set, ingame texts and so on. Technically, the Irish are still Scots with green skins.
The Irish are however included in kingdoms, couldn't the voices be taken from this?
thats what i was thinking:tacticalw

We looked into it, There is a long thread in this forum about it somewhere called "Long Speeches" or something like that. I thought you might be able to bring over some long Irish speeches from the Britain campaign as well ( and for lithuania for that matter). But apparently there are no long Irish speeches! Basically it's a huge job with little benefit to actual game play
I haven't gone back and actually played the Britain campaign in a while. Maybe I will just to check out the Irish sound files. I love that faction.
No, because the Kingdoms' Irish are the same as the DLV Irish. They base on the Scots, even the Kingdom Irish have no unique sound-set, neither do the Lithuanians in the Teutonic campaign.
Irish use Scot sound-set while Lithuania uses the East European set and neither of them has long or unique battle speeches.
The Britannia Campaign features some beutiful music, though. That could be implementd in DLV somehow ^^
