Viking Invasion Difficulties

Hi everyone,

I wanted to play Samurai Warlords 8 once again, last time I played it it was probably last year.

However, I am having difficulties with getting the Viking Invasion add-on to work. I know I have done it before, but I forgot the methods, so now I am at a loss... The standard MTW game works fine though.

My methods used:
1. MTW installed, VI installed in the same dir of MTW, : shows error message (although I forgot what it was..)
2.MTW installed, VI installed in a different dir (like totalwar\Viking invasion), the game executes, but crashes.

my old pc's specs:
amd athlon xp 2200+
750 mb ram
gforce 5200 128mb


.. I remember of using an old driver update dating from 2003/2004 for gf5200 users, but I'm not sure which one it was.

So for the installation, do I have to install the 2 versions in the same dir or seperate?
