Just wanna say to the EB team that im a huge fan of your works an i hope u get this mod completed on day

my game in the std EB is epic an with the new MTW2 engine this is gonna be the Leet mod

i also kneel before the awesome power that is EB, I pledge my wholehearted devotion to your mod... I bought MTW2 plus kingdoms... what was i doing a few weeks later... downloading EB and going back to rome...

Does anyone even remember how they promised us WEEKLY updates on what's going on behind scenes? :-)

I have a proposal to make, handle even the most broken and unfinished beta to me and I'll write a few steles about things that work.

As I see it, there's no rush... Let them take their time and produces an amaizing mod.
As for the updates, I am sure the second faction description will be as intersting as the first.

Oh well, I'm just thankful for the fact that a bunch of guys are going to take time out of their lives and devote themselves to making such an awesome game for free. Unless we are going to learn scripting, skinning, mapping and all the other tasks which the EB team is hard at work on, I prefer the tone of gratitude and patience.

I'm still trying to free up enough time to beat EB.

As for the updates, I am sure the second faction description will be as intersting as the first.

It could also be, given the number of breakthroughs which are occurring such as customizing buildings, that the team is waiting until they have the most awesome preview possible for the next stele, such as a customized Roman City

(just conjecturing).

The lack of info is discouraging and yes, it dampers my excitement for this mod (almost 2 years since Med 2 was released and we have 6 previews chalk full of historical info but not much about the mod) but just like the rest of you, I'll download and love it when it's finally released.

And before I get slapped by a dozen people for being negative, you know you all feel the same way. We're all excited, we all can't wait, and we all understand these guys are doing the mod out of their own time, and doing a tremendous job while they're at it, but STILL, all of us, would like more info in a more timely fashion. Don't kid yourself by saying otherwise. There's nothing wrong with that, either, imo. Look at The Third Age mod and you'll see what I mean.

With that in mind,

EB team. Keep at it. You and I both know we'll all still be here no matter how long it takes, and we certainly appreciate what you're doing.
