No plans for it, but if we include the Latin Empire in a future update they would feature a significant number of Venetian inspired units.

Since BC is an Islamic warfare mod, not Crusades campaign i dubt that we will see them making effort in creating a new roster for a new faction that barelly held any more teritories than Therace/Consantinopole and was beaten down quite fast.

We have had plans for adding in an emerging "Latin States" faction for future versions. We will revisit the possibility of the concept post 1.5 - which is still in progress.

BC is not an exclusively "Islamic Warfare Mod", especially considering we've never stated it being such.

If they or the Latin states were to be added then they would most likely be playable in custom battle and the possible late age campaign.

it would be cool tough if the map would be expanded to the east and if venic would be included,because venice had to deal much with the east (in both trading and (sea)warfare),and this might be a reason to consider adding this faction.

The team has stated many times that the map will not go as far east as venice, indeed no further east than parts of greece.

Edit: west, I meant west, I swear!

It was stated in discusions about addonitional Crusader states, Kievan faction or some other christian factions. I cant quote the words and am to busy watching anime to search for it :whistle:

That's is actually a decent idea, having strong italo-norman rebel groups popping up in the early game to simulate romes western enemies, could help nullify their map-edge advantage.
