Making units available to multiple factions

Hey there, sorry if this question has been asked before.

If you wanted to take a unit from one faction and make it available to a different faction (without removing it from the first), how would you go about doing this?

Any input is appreciated.

Add your faction to the ownership of the unit in the export_descr_units (EDU) file.
Add them to the recruiting lines of the relevant building in the export_descr_buildings (EDB) file.

Don't forget to edit the modelsdb file to get the textures.
