The auld alliance an' aw that... Highlanders would fight anywhere if you paid them. They still do to this day but the cost of potatoes is so cheap now you get a better deal. If Glasgow for instance ever came under a nuclear attack, no one would be able to tell if it made much difference. (I can say this as I'm a Scotlish person from Britland, och aye the noo, etc). -- Tokid
come on, check the fort near cesarea, merc german knights in turkey. also order spearmen in the trebizond fort, or one of those forts in turkey
"The Turks are never trapped. It's the people who surround them who are in trouble."Anthony Hebert
"What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence." Christopher Hitchens
Well I thought it's a refreshing change to the usual trebizond archers and other region specific troops. I tried to put in troops the player will not fight all the time through a campaign anyway.
If it really bugs you that much open descr.strat in the campaign folder and put in your taste of rebels.

I think it was first a Scottish army who became rebels, East of Normandie, it's near Brugge and I remember in Stainless Steel Scotland were always sailing into Brugge and Antwerp so maybe this is the reason.:hmmm:
