    Icon4 Tournament: Capitans & Commanders

    Alright everyone I'm posting here since it seems more of you play M2 than Kingdoms online.

    I would like to gather a group of you for a 4v4 with special rules I've come up with. I tried these out a long time ago in MTW, and have really wanted to try them out for M2.

    So what are the rules?


    Two teams of 4 players each. Each team selects 1 faction for example we could have England vs France 4 players on each side. Next each team decides who will play the role of a commanding battalion of uniform troop type with one general's bodyguard of your choice.

    This is how the line up would look:


    Team 1

    1st Player: missile

    2nd Player: spear

    3rd Player: infantry

    4th Player: Cavalry

    All Players: 4 Generals


    vs


    Team 2

    1st Player: missile

    2nd Player: spear

    3rd Player: infantry

    4th Player: Cavalry

    All Players: 4 Generals

    im interested, but by 4 generals, do you meen 4 general bodygaurds?

    Sweet, that would definitely require teamwork. I hope you can get this lined up.
    Might be easier just to line it up in the gamespy lobby though.

    Count me in.

    Basically yes, each player would select 1 general's body guard unit and line them up together with the other generals. Or they could stay within their own rank in the main army it's up to the team to decide.

    Definitely sweet, count me in as well. . Though I'm not applying as the cavalry commander, since he would probably have to work his ass off... But it depends on the money settings I guess. How many denars will be available for each team, and which unit size (small probably)?

    Ok great! we need just 3 more sign ups!

    as far as cavalry I love to play them so anyone that doesn't want the cavalry command give it to me

    EDIT: oh and as far as florins I suspect we will need a little more than usual as we are going to be doubling up some units to get full stacks out on the field I imagine.

    Ok so I'm calling these rules Capitans & Commanders (C&C rules) what do you think?

    Good then we can do a smaller version of it if we don't get enough for a 4v4

    Can someone send me a message on xfire when we start and plz in time it could be that I'm 10 mins afk or something. Most of you got me on xfire.

    So, I don't know if we're playing tonight but it would be good if everyone use xfire so we can communicate whenever we need (and fast).

    A problem is the lag on MP, and 4v4, even small units and low graphics it will lag very much first bringing together the armies on a 4v4 and creating a formation will take a VERY long time, but I`m interested

    Edit I can't play online in 2 weeks to come

    nah no lag especially at night in the US. It's just if you can get logged on heh...

    I just played a 3vs3 and had no lag. Only one of my allies had connection probs and got kicked out of the game. I guess thats the thing we need to be afraid of.
