Park says his model for international expansion is Genghis Khan, the Mongol warlord who conquered a wide swath of Asia and parts of Europe in the 13th century, and who is the subject of the film ``Mongol.'' What Mirae and the Mongol marauder have in common, Park says, is that both believe in promoting talented individuals, regardless of their ethnic background, and in decentralizing authority.

they have been very sophisticated in govt policies, had assimilated extremely well, have been very tolerant and invited the foreign experts/professionals from all countries to work for them.

No man, the Mongols literally raped and pillaged the world. They brought advanced societies crashing down from the Muslims to the Chinese, and even the early Russia! Their actions held back these civilisations for hundreds of years.

You can't fool me. I've played Rome: Total War. I KNOW for a fact that empires are built around sacking a city, moving your army out of it when the population builds up so they'll rebel, then sacking it again to lower squalor levels.
