    Icon4 Problem with 3dsmax

    I am new with 3dsmax and I dont know what I am doing wrong. When I'm trying to import animation from data/animations/data/animations and take file 3dsmax says " Error! Cannot import animation without the scene Root bone. Verify it exist" What I should do?

    Welcome to TWC..

    You must have a unit in the scene to before you import an animation, the scene root is an element of a unit model. What it does is tell the game where the ground is in relation to the model.

    And how I do that? I tryed import cas but that doesn't work. Thanks for reply for this noob question

    Now I get it work. I was openin wrong files butt how I add textures on those models

    Ok, in the import export panel there's a section called 'set texture path' (something like that).. browse that to your textures folder before you import and they should come in automatically.

    Or press 'm' on your keyboard to access the 'material editor' then select 'maps', then click on the box with the unit name, then bitmap and browse to your texture folder.
