Those guys are pretty damn cool in just about every way.

Though I'm surprised nobody has said the praetorians yet.

Theres nothing quite so satisfying as seeing a bunch of these naked Lunatics charge into a Phalanx from the front and still come out on top so they get 10 out of 10 for balls(with or without the modesty patch) and sheer badassness

I totally agree. They can beat African elite Agematos maybe even the spartans.

there is another one though, maybe because I could see this unit in the EB 1.0 loading screens during game but I couldn't recruit it since it wasn't in it yet.

Oh yes, those guys are scary. I've never seen any other unit kill as fast as they can - not even some of the heaviest cavalry at full-tilt charge.

yeah, the PE's are awesome indeed. one of my favorite "early" units.
