Polish are freaking annoying

I was playing Russia so I got Kiev and much of the eastern regions, then out of nowhere Poland attacks me and it ends for about like 20 turns then I finally declared peace, then they attacked me again for another like 50 turns, I went screw it and did another Russia Campaign and they did it again! And all of this time, they kept sending they're princesses to force me to become a Vassal for them which is really retarded, I finally snapped and completley slaughtered there King and much of there family members until I made them to be my vassal

Has anyone here got really P.Oed by the Poles from this by playing Russia or other surrounding factions?

yea when you play russia you pretty much have to make poland a primary early target. i get mass cav archers and their spearmen (which are quite good in the beginning imo) and just go after those damned nobles (with those pesky javelins

). i usually try to take cities like kiev before they do so poland really has nothing....which is probably why they attack me.

they're also really just an annoying bunch with the danish. if you manage to keep the HRE happy then Poland is usually the next person to go after you, and they usually are allied with the HRE so in the end you fight the HRE anyways

kill them quickly. no mercy!

best option i find is always take rebel places in ploands direction instead of athe top, caus poland will b expanding quick and you'll want a good foot hold 2 meet him at (vilnius area), u can take other places at the top eg:ryazan later caus no one else is likely 2 take them 4 a bit, if u send armies to meet the poles u could also send one to thorn by boat, i did this and took a valuble weak castle off him, if u raid from oat he dont expect it, if you can keep raiding while having some defense on provinces bordering poland he should b defeated, because he cant afford to generate a big army without the places to afford them! it works 4 me anyway, i tried horse archer armies and mine killed more of my own than the enemy, id use them only in moderation

there are certain factions that have increased animosity in between them
if you browse the game files you can see these factions in the relations section

i.e. byzantine and turk relations have a -0.8 factor, whereas byzantine and russian relations have a +0.6 one (not sure about the values)

I had just finished a Russian campaign. I threw everything at Vilnius and then at Thorn. Poland was already in Thorn, so .... After Thorn, I went after both Halych and Cracov. While getting ready, I harassed any Polish in the area. This seemed to drive them further west to Magdeburg and Stettin.

Poland can be taken out with militia troops, so do not build quality. Your generals are the only cavalry you will need since mostly seige attacks.

I did not find Kiev critical in the beginning if Poland is your target -- the Hungarians did not go beyond Iasi. If the Mongols come your way -- Kiev is toast anyways.
