Kingdoms won't install HELP PLEASE

so jut got kingdoms but error message comes up whenever i try to install

'1.03.000 update cannot be applied to the 1.000.000 version of the game'

and then

'Failed to apply updates aborting installation'

Doers this mean the expansion i have jut brought is useless???

or is there some way round it?

Ive tried uninstalling medieval 2 and installing it again but same mesage i try to install.

oh i have vista too

Vista? One way for sure. Do a total uninstall of M2TW, delete the Sega folder, clean your registry, reinstall M2TW, then install Kingdoms and cross your fingers. Any questions of what Vista does to this game, read the sticky at the top of this forum.
