Default Mods, maps, and other goodies

,First off I want say SS 6.1 is friggen great(had to take off Grimm Reality, 3-4 minute AI turns sometimes) it really makes the game better, lovely work Kong. I don't really know if this is where I should post this here but I was just wondering if there is a limit to the mods you can use? Like I said, SS is great but I would like to try out more but I don't want to mess up what I have. If I tried different mods will that screw with SS 6.1? Any suggestions for cool mods appreciated.

I don't think there's a limit since has its own folder. The only limit is the size of your HDD Also mods won't influence each other, I only had a problem with the "eras" mod because it replaced some files.
I'd suggest you try "Broken Crescent" if you haven't yet.

The real question is whether or not a specific mod affects core game files that will then mess up other mods. Always worth checking beforehand in a mod's faq to see. If it's not specifically addressed, search or ask in that mod's forum to find out.

I play the following mods (besides SS6.1) so I can ssay with certainty that they don't interfere with each other:

    Das Heilige Romiische Reich
    Pro Deo et Rege
    Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod

A lot of folks like Broken Crescent and Deus Lo Vult. Kingdom of the Scots is on my list of mods to try out.

Look through the various M2TW and Kingdoms Hosted Modifications forums and see what looks interesting to you. Happy gaming!

Broken Crescent plays well and the battles are great. The only thing i find wrong with it is it lacks the luster that SSMOD,DLV,(DARK AGES-XAI) AND KINDOMS GRAND CAMPAIGN MOD has.To me it lacks the detail or eye candy compaired to the ones i just mentioned. It just looks dull.Anyway the game play is tough and it is a great angle of the mod playing the mideast factions.I just wish he could give it the looks to go with it.And to some the look of the game won't matter at all.I have about 11 mods loaded that have no effect on each other. Then on the other hand you have DLV Mod which looks great but is a very micro management mod.To me SSmod is very well balanced compaired to the rest. It's the first mod i tried when i started and well it's the most mod i play even after i have tried the rest.
