Hi everyone,

this poll is for which you think is the most realistic accent in M2:TW Stainless Steel - compared to reality.

Note: Not which is your favourite - (otherwise I'd always choose Ireland )

For example, does the Russian accent really sound russian? Or the same with the German's -

I'd probably have to say that overall the French accent seems the best. It just sounds natural and similar to French folk I've come across. Maybe I'm ignorant or because of the fact that they speak French at least 40% of the time.

The English have a decent sounding accent, Scotland is also ok.

The rest are mostly awful or worse. When you can make battles with thousands of soldiers in full 3D graphics it should be possible to get someone who actually speaks the other languages to record their sounds.

I don't know how many Hollywood movies I've seen that have been ruined by horrible accents. They spend millions of dollars all the costumes, effects and so on only to have the german characters in a WW2 movie speak with horrendous accents.

Either have them speak bloody german or plain english.

When playing as the Turks in SS the most annoying factor for me is the stereotypical way they talk. Remeber back in the days of Shogun total war when the japanese actually spoke *gasp*.... Japanese!
