    Default Removing vanilla

Hello I'm starting a mod on the low middles ages and I want to move totally vanilla.

I just don't know if we can remove everything like papal systems etc...

My question is what can't we remove from vanilla ?

    Thanks

I am pretty sure you meant: "what can't I mod in vanilla?"
I think you might want to keep a distance from the exe (medieval2.exe) file, but otherwise everything is fair game to be modded.

Most mods go for the opposite: max regions, max units etc. So you are a bit on your own. But hey, fighting 'mano y mano' should be fun.
Simply remove ONE item and see what the log throws up.

I don't want to make a simple mod, I just want a simple base to work on.

    But thanks.

I found what I was searching for : stripped down mod folder
