1.05 Won't update :(

Was wondering... i have 1.03 MTWII and i have Kingdoms 1.04 installed, now i'm trying to get the 1.05 patch to work...but everytime i start the install, it gives me an error which states,

Error: Invalid or missing target C:\program files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\americas\packs\localized.pack
if this problem persists or you have modified the game files in any way please try the following steps,
uninstall kingdoms, delete \mods\americas (and the other 3 mods) reinstall kingdoms, and apply the update.

Now i tried what it told me to do, and im still receiving this error. Any ideas? if i need to post this in a different forum section, i apologize.

Also, not sure if i have the gold edition of the game or not, is there a non-gold edition 1.05 patch? That might be the problem i guess?

Sorry this might not be a stainless steel specific question, although that is my goal is to get Stainless steel working.

By the way for those interested, if anyone else has this issue, i found a non-gold 1.05 patch off of totalwar.com.

Hopefully it will fix the issue, sorry if i've wasted anyones time.

**edit**Yes this fixed my issue.

go to the official totalwar site. I had the same problem and I went there, downloaded the european version (the one I have) and it works now...
