Default Question RE: Priests or any religious units

Hello everyone, I really like this mod and this site. I am playing as the KoJ and I was wondering; are there no priests or religious units available in this mod? I have built various different types of churches, abbeys, etc. and still nothing. Did I do something wrong? Thank you for your help.

Templars can be considered a religious unit.

Thanks for replying. And yes I agree, but thats not what I meant. I meant something like missionaries. But I did some more reading and I found out you have to build level 4 buildings to recruit priests. But like I said thank you for replying.

Ahh I thought by religious unit you ment a fighting unit such as those rediculous hoody wearing, baseball-bat-wielding thug-grims that were for some reason put in vanilla.

Priests come at level 4 to avoid spammage and conversion of lands and peoples that historically would of been very difficult to convert.

    Oh and Welcome to BC.

    Cheers

Thank you for the welcome...so when I do build the required religious level is it still hard to convert?

Yes, the game's much better without priests, witches, and heretics running around wasting time.
Might I also suggest removing merchants as well?

If there was a time when total war really hit the bottom hard then it was with those creatures.

I think its 2 highest temple buildings. So eigther you need Large Stone Wall(20,000+ population), or Huge Stone Wall(40,000+ population).
IIRC its Huge Stone Wall that allows you to build 2 highest Jamas, or cathdrals.
