The mafia stealing my money?

I don't know why this happens, but for some reason I lose money each turn. Even though my the "End Turn report" or whatever it's called says that I've gained money. I've lost 40 000 florins now, and it's bloody annoying. I checked the console and found this:

Eep, pointless thread, since it's most likely the pirate bug....

Found another thread in this forum. gonna try the fix in that....

and apparently it doesn't work with saved campaigns, so I'll have to bloody give up my portugal campaign for the second time... last time I accidentally saved over it

No need to start over, just turn the cheat around and you will get the money back.

So every turn (or every 5 turn or whatever) you open up the console and press the up arrow, remove the - before the amount, press enter and you will get that amount back.

Sure it is boring but better than restarting a long campaign.

i am to tired at the moment to go tru the bug report thread so i will ask my question here as this is a bit related, ore not. but i cant seem to get my console up and running i know which key i have to press but that dosn' t seem to work doe i need to change something in a text file to get this working again?

Not sure how its realated :hmmm:. However the console key is ~ on english keyboards, other setups use a different key. You may also want to check the .cfg file as you can disable this in there I believe under the [game] choices.

whit game choices you mean the mods folder where all games are?
becose i checkt the ss6.1 file called Stainless_steel_kingdoms and found this line in the [hotseat] part.

enable cheat console in hotseat campaign.
# disable_console = false

when i whant to open a console in whatever game i want to play it is allways the same key. so i am pressing the right one. i turned false in to true and checkt again but it didn' t work.

It looks like the "pirate" bug, there is a fix for that somewhere on the thread.
Let me see if I can find it for ya.
