princess dowries
Hi Guys,
Shouldn't princesses come with dowries? That is to say, a sum of money or a piece of property that goes to the new husband on marriage?
Could this be modded? I'm no scripting expert, so I haven't a clue how to do this - I'm just putting forward the idea.
Could a princess's charm rating affect the dowry?
Having dowries attached to princesses might make it possible to marry of a not-so-charming daughter on account of the dowry attached to her.
Is any of this worth exploring?
Could this work through scripting? Or through a mod like BBB?
Basically, any ideas on this?

Mmm... I don't find it logical that the personnal dowrie of a general would increase royal treasury. Maybe dowries must be reserved only to faction leader and heir marriages. But in that case, you can simply negociate a sum of money through diplomacy.

Hi Octavius,
Actually, that's fair comment.
I guess I just wanted to field this topic in a general way, as I've not seen it featured anywhere, and yet I think it was a major part of Medieval marriage agreements.
Maybe observing the dowry tradition should be done through diplomacy as you say.
