While I'm a strong defender of non-smoker rights (being a non-smoker myself ) I find this very hilarious and a good step to show everybody how ridiculous religion is etc.

In the US people who might need some forbidden stuff (some kinda drugs etc) because of their disease are not allowed to use them, yet people who claim that they "need that for our religion" are allowed to. That's downright sad.

I'm all for this, show everybody the special role religion has archieved in our society. Everything may be criticised but DONT YA DARE TO DO IT TO RELIGION!!!!

when they don't awknowledge this, then what exactly would define a religion and legitimacy? Who is to decide over these matters?
are we going to far in tolerating things if cloacked by religion? etc...

It is. Funny thing, today I was playing GTA IV, and watching the ingame TV. They mentioned a family that had a huge house that paid no taxes since they "practice their religion inside it". The breaks we give organized religion are silly. Last summer I worked in a pool store, and a priest had bought a pool for one of his parishioners with his tax-free church issued credit card. Now my boss was amiable and a sale is a sale, but if I was the owner I would have charged taxes otherwise.

shouldnt it simply be that religion cannot break the law, i mean if you had a religion of rapists, they couldnt rape people in their churches. so why should smokers be able to smoke even if it is their religion?

I've just realised something!

To Ahura Mazda fire is holy right?

Ahura Mazda is probably the first monotheistic god (well at least for all I know)

Judaism probably has some roots in this, and so Christianityy and Islam too.

A cigarette lit is a form of fire and smoke, so it's a 10 minute tribute to Ahura Mazda, so maybe, just maybe, these guys have achieved the last and only perfect form of Monotheism by making fire holy again just like Ahura Mazda would like!

Honestly, Christianity was once a jewish cult, and looked upon the same way, I'm not saying this is a serious religion, but the problem is, if they see it as a serious worship, then why oh why are you to be the judge of their legitimacy? Who decides wich religion is a true religion and wich not? There are rattlesnake worshiping Christians in the us aren't there?

There's no problem with that you can still do that as long as you don't smoke tobacco in a bar, in the coffeshop you can still smoke a joint but it has to be pure marijuana, no more tobacco allowed. And you can still visit prostitutes if you are of legal age.


Annyway the smokers religion is about the holy trinity of smoke fire and ash.
