The Skins aren't, they can be transferred to the ME2:TW model but it's nice to ask the Permission of who made that Character first.

But the models aren't unusable. All you have to do is rig the model to the M2TW skeleton and create a normal texture file for the existing texture.

You don't even have to rig the skeleton, the CAS to MESH tools do all the rigging for you. You need about an hour to make a RTW unit playable in MTW2, with conversions, modeldb, and EDU.

not really because creating a new model and texturing it to make equal the quality in the unit previews ends up taking a few days per unit
