Can't seem to get this mod to work
http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=159996
Downloaded it, installed it, Checked on every game, Nothing happened on any of the games, Considering the entire thing is only like 100 or so Megabytes im wondering if I ever got the right one...it said it finished installing nothing happened, So I started messing around with all the checkboxes, And again nothing happened. I don't know what I need to do to get it to work right, Maybe one of you guys will, Little help would be great, Thanks

Strange, I remember downloading and getting this to work fairly easy, do you know if there is an .exe which you can launch in the DL folder?
If there instructions on the DL page I suggest you follow them (copy this and that in <here>)

Re: Can't seem to get this mod to work
I did it just how the instructions said
I"nstall Part1, Part2 and the 6.1 Patchinto the default Medievall II Total War directory.
Normally this is: .../SEGA/Medieval II Total War.
If you have installed Medieval II into another folder, please select the folder manually.
NOTE: Stainless Steel 6.0 will not overwrite older Stainless Steel versions, so you have to delete them manually."
Since my folder is /Sega/Medieval II i didn't mess with it and it did download and install into that folder, But When i went into the game i didnt notice anything at all different, Is there a specific spot or place I should look at in game to tell if it worked or not?
So yeah any help would be really appreciated, Any reason why it wouldn't work would be good to know as well..maybe I just am not looking at the right places? Maybe I need to do something else (although it comes with an installer) Maybe its Vista....some how!??

Re: Can't seem to get this mod to work
Moved to Stainless Steel forums.
Don't wanna come off as pretentions, but just to say it first, are you clicking the proper SS6.1 icon that appears on your desktop instead of the normal Medieval II icon? Most large mods make their own shortcut and do not change the normal game.
Edit: Wait, only 100 megs? Are you sure you downloaded both part1 and part2 of Stainless Steel 6.0? Those two files should be over 1.0 gig in size combined.

Re: Can't seem to get this mod to work
That's just the 6.1 patch. The patch is just a patch. You also need to download parts 1 & 2 of Stainless Steel 6 (and make sure you run both parts after you download them) and then install the 6.1 patch. The links are directly above the 6.1 download link.
