Maximum unit

I have a problem of not being able to build any more units, i read somwhere that this problem happens when, the Max size becomes less than the Max used then the values become reversed, if this is what happend i don´t know how becasue i didn´t loose or gain any cities.
What i want to ask is there no way to diasble max unit in my save game or some other way to make i possible to continue my save game. or should i just give up at and start a new game, iam playing 5.6?

you can check your points when you click on the recruitment button (the womans face) in the unit recruitment queue of a city or castle. When you have used up all your points hire some mercs, merc ships and what you can get hold of and disband them one by one. This should lower your UMS sufficiently.

Yes but the problem is that my Max unit size is 100 and the used is 80 so i should be able to recruit units. I tried to buy Mercs and it just helped to lower my ums to 75 but i can´t still recuit

Hmm, sounds like that nasty bug that was described earlier, can't really give advice on that becasue I never had it myself...
