In cities you get free upkeep units, the best of these militia will fill that banner up

Grats on that, i havnt done it in MTW2 but with HRE I had the world in MTW1. I chose to attack the papal states last though, I had about a dozen stacks with 10 star generals and peak troops. Dont ask me why i had a dozen stacks to seige one castle, you know why.

He doesnt have that many troops stacked in his settlements, he probley just got tired of rebels popping up so he filled like every 3rd or 4th castle with a small army.

there are many who have conquered the entire map (myself included), just takes patience and a lotta time

i just stopped bothering with building and recruiting and rebels after a point

one guy tho did it in SS 6.1 which i wont even attempt... would take WAY too long

If you play as the Scots, I find that the public will become very upset and perhaps riot over the waste of money if large numbers of troops are kept by the king. The Irish seem to be the most docile of people. Remarkable, eh?

That's funny. Scotland's settlements had seemingly better public order than any other of my British settlements.

Nice work there how long did it take you? And how many turns? I did it with the franks in RTW:BI . I am also working on doing it with Denmark in SS 6.0.

I don't remember the amount of turns but I was early into the 1800's when I finished.

i did it with the byzantine empire once, however, i couldn't get to the new world, i dont know why.

I did it once in ROME. Lasted for about 3 turns and then almost 10 provinces rebelled.
