So uh...I want to play some strategy games about Vietnam, throwing napalm and moving heli's with troops in it...what about you guys,do you want the same thing as I do?...
Is some political reason behind this that there are so few Vietnam games?

O Sancta Simplicitas!
This is only strategy I know of that involves the Vietnam war(and that's a mod for C&C Generals Zero Hour..)

Okay, there was this "Platoon" squad control rts, but I read a review which slammed it to the ground.
IIRC, you can recreate U.S vs. Vietnam-scenarios in Steel Panthers : Main Battle tank battlefield hex strategy(turn-based!). But the game is free so it's totally worth checking out even if "turn-based" doesn't feel all that comfortable.
vietnam games are bad.
Swear filters are for sites run by immature children.
Only ones I can think of are 3 games, 1. Steel Panthers II, it featured a full on Vietnam campaign and is a good game but good luck trying to find it these days.
2. Platoon, bad game
3. I forgot the name of it but it is a recent Hex-based game which was very complex.
So complex that not even the manual could explain how you could such easy things as load infantry up on choppers.
There used to be a Vietnam strategy game - hex based on the C64
you might still find it on emulation - i seem to remember thinking it was choice but then I was a teenager living in a country town and my c64 was my only friend
