    Default Uninstalling Rome Total War

I used to have Rone Total War on my computer in the past, my computer than had many trojans and viruses which wiped out most of the game. It was only one of few things which were affected. I than deleted the folders. The game still existed, on the 'Add or Remove Programs'. I tried uninstalling it and a network error came up saying the file C:\Windows\Installer\Rome-Total War(TM).msi was read only and it cancelled. I tried to look for that file but it does not exist.

I than tried to install Rome Total War again, and the install shield starts running, than a question came up saying 'Are you sure you want to completely remove Rome Total War and it's features?. I continued to see if it could, but the same error message came up. I wanted to install but the installshield was trying to uninstall it.

I than used CCleaner and see whether it would work through that, and the same error came up again. So I deleted the entry and it no longer existed in the 'Add or Remove Programs'. I tried to install it again but it went to uninstall mode and the same network problem came up, when I followed the uninstall. Basically, I want to play the game again.

    Thanks in advance

I don't think any of those refer to my problems. I followed this

    http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic...TW-amp-BI.html

However it continues on trying to uninstall when I am trying to install the game.

Are you using Vista? Did you use a good antivirus and antispyware program and get it cleaned up first?
