Setup Error

Hey,
I recently decided to install Medieval II, which had originally worked before and played successfully.

Through installation it came up with the following error (below) and halted the whole setup, I tried installing again but it still comes up, if anybody could help I would be very pleased!

CRC errors are caused by a lot of things. It says your disc is bad-either scratched or dirty or both- so I'd say clean it and check it for starters. Did you clean your registry before trying to reinstall?
Cd/dvd burning software like Nero can kick you out. Emulation software like Alcohol120 can do it. Other programs usually games that use Securom can cause it. External dvd readers can cause it.

Thanks for helping,
I've uninstalled Nero and cleaned the disk which looked a bit scratched.
But what do you mean clean your registry? I'm not good at this haha

Download, install and run a registry cleaner. There are free ones like ccleaner, Advanced Windows Cleaner Personal and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. Just use Google for them.
