Unpacking issue

Hello I was pointed in this direction for a problem I have with unpacking my data files for M2TW. I use the tool that comes with the 1.2 patch and run the unpack_all.bat. This runs until it has unpacked the files and closes the black dialogue box without saying anything like 'Unpacking complete' (is this normal?)

Now I go to the data folder where all the unpacked goods are meant to be held and nothing has been unpacked to it. I search for export_descr_units.txt on my computer and find no results, this obviously means that unpacking hasn't worked somehow. Do any of you guys know why this could be?

I'm running Vista in case that helps.

Vista?
Do you have absolute adminstrative rights to your computer right down to the last hidden file on it?
Did you unhide all hidden/system files?
When it was unpacking, did you watch the numbers to make sure it unpacked all 36,000+ files?
