"Darkness? I was born in it...molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but blinding! The shadows betray you because they belong to me!"But there must always be a Darth Traya, one that holds the knowledge of betrayal. Who has been betrayed in their heart, and will betray in turn."
"You clearly don't know who you're talking to, so let me clue you in. I am not in danger, I AM the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks! "
I thought the third one was going to be an MMO?
Not confirmed yet but that rumor has been somewhat squashed, which is good in my opinion. I personally would love a KOTOR III but not in an MMO version.

That link is old, it's been confirmed as an MMO.

The first one was fantastic, loved the storyline. The second made my angry because you started as a jedi, kind of removed the spice in the story. In the first one you fought through Taris as a normal guy. You got to take bounty hunting missions or help the lowly underworlders. You fought in the arena or whatever it was called. Finally you rescue bastila, steal the ebon hawk and escape the sith quarantine. Then you train to become a jedi yourself. And thats just the beginning.
In the second one the storyline was pretty linear and predictable, except Darth Treya at the end, which was awesome.
I wish I could play 1 again but my darn xbox has broke down after (surprisingly) years of faithful service. I was thinking of rewarding it with a sledgehammer to the core.

Man, I hope that the MMORPG isn't expensive...
Yeah I hate wow fees
Though if its like $1 a month im okay with it.
I only played the first KOTOR, because everyone I trusted said KOTOR 2 just wasn't as good.
Get KotOR II, when the TSLRP finishes it will restore a lot of cut content.

Probably a month away now.
Great news, hadn't checked them out in quite a while now. Although, the last time I tried KII on my comp, it wouldn't work. Even tried installing it again to no avail. Great value now at under $20 for anyone who liked the first one.
Whoops, thought I had linked to the post E3 article. My bad. Still thought the game being an MMO wasn't set in stone though. I'm somewhat disappointed. However, Bioware does great work so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

The first one had the better storyline, but the second one has a lot better feats, forces powers, ect.I only played the first KOTOR, because everyone I trusted said KOTOR 2 just wasn't as good.
A KOTOR MMO would be awesome.
Do you guys know if you can Buy the kotor I in sweden?
The first KOTOR's light side ending was kind of silly
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I actually liked K2 more, even in it's relatively unfinished state. The story was less cliched and a bit more mature. The end didn't really explain much though, but the TSLRP should add actual endings tooSpoiler Alert, click show to read:
WHAT? Are you kidding me? I want a game with a story, and one i wouldn't have to pay for each month. Not to mention that KOTOR3 will now be pushed into distant future (if it's made at all).A KOTOR MMO would be awesome.

My pony jumps ever so high
Exactly what I thought as well.
Besides the fact that I don't like MMOs due to their lack of storytelling (and their "money-vampirism"): Come on, there are so many MMOs out there and scheduled for release that it's nothing short of getting silly. Neither does any new MMO get to break through WoWs "fortified" position on the market nor is any MMO doing things very differently than all the others.
So to make things short: I want a real KotOR 3 that either continues the story of the first one or joins the story of 1 and 2 together (making sense of course). I somehow have the bad feeling that KotOR MMO will simply be a "StarWars Galaxies in the early Old Republic".![]()
AFAIK the KOTOR MMO isn't a confirmed "numbered" part of the series.
So we could still have KOTOR 3 at some point.
I mean, WoW isn't considered Warcraft 4 is it?
