Wheres the longbowmen?

Well I decided to play the british after installing 6.1, installing both additional mods, installing the fix to Bygs mod and updating (dont know if it actually updated the mod) RR.
But I have absolutely no idea why I cant recruit longbowmen even after my 20+ turn. Ive built the archery range and ive got my heir at the castle even tried putting my king there but still nothing. While both the scots and irish can recruit their local units.
Ive read the tutorial but from what I can see it doesnt cover that and im rightly confused atm. What am I missing here?

In RR longbowmen are not available until about 1220. What year is it in your game?

1114 AD, heh damn looks like ill be waiting for some time then which is bad since the Irish decided to crash my party with the Scots.
Guess ill just have to hang on with all ive got until I can recruit my first longbows.

New RR save-game compatible version will have generic Early Professional 'Archers' unit available from game start to help fill the gap waiting for LBmen.
