    Icon5 Difference between BI.exe and RS.exe

Hi, could any1 tell me the difference between running the Bi.exe and the original one? What advantages and benefits will i have by running the Bi.exe? I've been playing a campaign for a long time so far using the rs.exe and i don't know if I missed something... Can i transfer to bi.exe with the old saved files?

    Thanks in advance!

And for the second part of your question, no, you cannot use rome.exe savegames with the BI.exe.

I thought you could go from RTW to BI but not BI to RTW?

Oh? I don't know, could be possible. Mcgriffin, I think you should wait till a team member or more experienced RS player can tell you everything.

You should be able to take a save game from RTW and use it with RTW BI. Similarly you can go from RTW BI to RTW Alex. You can't go back.

Cool! Thank you all for your help! Now I get the point and I'll definitely use Bi.exe from now on

@pirates_say_arrgg: your links are really helpful. Thanks!

As for the saved file part, i'll just try loading them in bi.exe. If i could load them and play for 1-2 turns that means it's okay, am i right? (i hope it's not gonna cause me trouble after 50 turns )

I have successfully used Rome.exe and BI back and forth with the same saved games.
