getting vassels easily

i have only posted questions and a thanks to all who have helped me but can have some advice on easily getting vassels beacuse im not a great economymanger

Your going to have to play a Goody Goody game until you get your vassal.

1. No sacking or exterminating cities.
2. No killing prisoners.
3. No assasins.
4. Don't break diplomatic agreements.

Once your target nation is down to two territories and you've pummuled them good try to vassalize them. Make sure it's a nice offer... generous or very generous.

Once you've got your vassal you may embrace "The Dark Side"... Good Luck

yeh but that makes it too easy

If you build your empire so that it is large, your strength ratio increases. It is much easier to gain someone as a vassal who is say 3 strengths below you;

example;

England_____________________Scotland

Strong______________________Moderate

The above would be hard to vassalage however

England_____________________Aragon

Strong______________________Pathetic

The above is like playing with putty

thank you but when i use aragon it goes frome pathetic to supreme

problem is, that the AI is almost always ether very strong or supreme.

Once i knocked KOJ down to a single settlement of Nicosia. They were still "Supreme" I was ok whatever, they only have one settlement.

So i send a full stack to take the citadel. If you look at the island where Nicosia is on, you'll notice its completely forest. Well it turns out i get ambushed by 3 stacks

I have never had a vassal, but I have been one. I'm currently playing as the Seljuk's and I am a vassal to the Kwarezmian Empire. I'm also one of the strongest nations at the moment. The only reason that I am a vassal is to keep the Kwarezmians from attacking while I wage war against the Romans.
