Just copy and paste it somewhere you'll remember.
i usually coppy and paste it back into the same folder, just add the .old ending to the name so the game doesnt use it
Its not the one with youre name on it, its the one addressed to whom this may concern you have to worry about

I make a folder named, imaginatively enough, "backup" at each level of the directory structure into which I copy files. I guess it's the sysadmin in me coming out....
Also, CC's advice to keep a clean copy of SS somewhere is IMHO an absolute "must do".
