    most of it's meaningless and the unspecified error is your trouble of course with only that we can't do much in the way of helping you

    Set the trace option for errors in your cfg file, it will report more stuff.

    In your .cfg file.

    Code:
    [features]
    to=logs/Barebones.system.log.txt
    level=*script* trace

    Just learned a new trace option. Does it check the scripts more in depth?

    It doesnt matter, but if you are running a mod folder then you already have a features section.

    Please note that your log is now in the \log directory, NOT in the root directory of the game. But you need to add this line to your mod's configuration file, not the regular (root directory) entry.

    Lets back up a little.
    1. Your default log is in the M2TW root directory.
    2. Your default configuration file (medieval2.preferences) is in the M2TW root directory.
    3. Your mod log is in the M2TW\log directory
    4. Your mod configuration file (barebones?) is in the mods\barebones directory
    Open the file in number 4 with notepad.
    Look for the [features] section
    Insert the following two lines:
    Code:
    to=logs/Barebones.system.log.txt
    level=*script* trace
    Save and Exit, start your game.
    Your new log file will be in the place as described in number 3

    'Barebones" is a placeholder. Substitute it with the name of your mod (PDER?)

    I just put the files in my main medieval data folder

    To Swagger

    It says the same even with the change to the cfg.
